Page 2 is up! Not much to say really, so enjoy the new piece of comic art!
Oh wait, there is something! If you are a subscriber of imaginefx, the latest issue (that’s issue 59) has a feature of me in their FxPose section! I haven’t seen it yet (not having a subscription means that I have to wait a month before Barnes and Noble stocks the shelves with that issue,) but I’m super excited at the opportunity to have my work displayed in a great magazine like ImagineFx.

Note: All of the dialogue here is telepathic between Leviathan and the matriarch. Each panel should get progressively darker, as L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N. descends through different underwater zones.
PANEL 1
The remora with lit eyes breaks away from the ship, swimming downward. At this level, the light underwater is the same on the last page.
L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N: THE INTEGRATED FRAMEWORK ABOARD THE SALVAGE SHIP INDICATES LONG-TERM POSITIVE OUTCOMES.
PANEL 2
The remora continues to swim downward, passing through a school of herring. The light here is a little darker than panel 1, as the remora is passing through the Epipelagic zone.
MATRIARCH: SAVE THE DOUBLE SPEAK FOR A LARGER AUDIENCE L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N.
PANEL 3
Now the remora swims further downward, with the school of herring trailing behind it. Their eyes now also glow blue. An opah swims nearby, not threatening the group. They are within the Mesopelagic zone and the light is growing dim here.
L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N: WE MAY HAVE HIM SOON.
PANEL 4
The opah has now joined L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N.'s group of herring and the remora. All of their eyes glow blue, providing the only light available at this depth, within the Bathypelagic zone. A bristlemouth fish attacks the school, snatching a herring in it's jaws.
L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N: YET THE RISKS REMAIN CONSIDERABLE.
L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N: LARGE-SCALE GRAPHEME INFLOWS IN EMERGING MARKETS WOULD PROVIDE NEW CHALLENGES TO CONTINUED MARINE PROPERITY.
PANEL 5
Now the bristlemouth is a part of the group of disparate, possessed fish. It is extremely dark at this level, the Benthopelagic zone. L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N.'s eyes provide light but we can only see rims of faded light around these eyes, barely suggesting the shapes of the fish.
MATRIARCH (TELEPATHY): THERE WILL BE NO DEFIANCE.
MATRIARCH (TELEPATHY): WE CONTROL THE MARKET.
MATRIARCH (TELEPATHY): YOU. AND I. AND THE INDUSTRY ON THE ISLAND.
PANEL 6
This panel is lit brightly in contrast to those before it. The school of L.E.V.I.A.T.H.A.N. fish is surrounded by a group of aphotican males, their angler head lures providing the light at this depth. At the center of this group of aphoticans swims the new aphotican matriarch, commanding the attention of the scene. She is slightly different physically than the previous matriarch.
MATRIARCH: MY FATHER WILL BREED AGAIN. THE APHOTICAN DYNASTY WILL REMAIN UNPOLLUTED.
MATRIARCH: WHY ELSE WOULD WE HAVE LET HIM LIVE ALL OF THESE YEARS?
