Distinguished guests…may I present…the LEVIATHAN!

PAGE 10. (2 panels)
PANEL 1
The Rhizome floats in the center of an underwater cavern. It is incredibly dark, the only lighting comes from the submarine's external lamps and its "eyes." We can barely make out anything else. The Rhizome has its tentacles extended in case of battle, but they are drawn back against its hull for speed.
NO DIALOGUE
PANEL 2
Much larger panel, filling the rest of the page. The submarine is now surrounded by hundreds of fish, all with glowing eyes that now illuminate the entire cavern, showing us that the Rhizome is completely surrounded by these fish. This is LEVIATHAN, a mysterious being that is capable of possessing schools of sea life, maintaining a multitude of creatures as its "form."
Here are some potential marine life in the school of LEVIATHAN: transparent fish, giant ostropods, weird jellyfish with radiating disco lights, hatchet fish, fangtooths, Chimaera sharks, gulper eels, hagfish and anglers. Some of these already have bioluminescence, so that can be a source of the light as well. Feel free to make up your own marine oddities as well.
NOTE: We'll need some really unique lettering here to demonstrate hundreds of fish all speaking in unison telepathically.
LEVIATHAN (telepathically):
Distinguished guests.
LEVIATHAN (telepathically):
Welcome.
