Geek Syndicate Charity Auction for Gracie Martin

Eric Martin and Gracie Martin

One of my favorite podcasts is Geek Syndicate, where Barry & Dave chat about all things geeky from TV to films and comics. The guys are generously starting an ebay auction in honor of Eric Martin, a fan/friend of theirs who unfortunately died in November. Eric left behind a daughter, Gracie, and this auction is designed to raise money for a donation fund to benefit her. According to their site:

The auction will take place on ebay and kick off on Monday (December 14th and run until Friday 18th December). Any items which do not initially sell will be auctioned again at a later date with the proceeds going to the fund.

The guys have already collected impressive items for the auction, including origianl art pieces from Frank Quitely and Tommy Lee Edwards as well as a signed, unseen pitch by Paul Cornell. Check their posting for even more items available.

Please do what you can to help support this cause. If you’re a comics creator and can contribute to this auction, please do so. If you’re a fan, please try to help them raise the money they need to help little Gracie out.
