Design Changes

Some of you may notice some fluctuations over the next couple of days, as we make some design changes to the site. Most notably, we were able to hack the comicpress code and present readers with the option of starting at the beginning, or going straight to the latest page when they arrive. Your RSS readers should still update when we have new pages too.

We have to thank Jay Summet for helping us with the coding. Check out his blog where you can read about all the wild stuff he does with solar powered bicycles and laser beam etched laptops. He also hosts Burning Well, a repository for public domain images.

We also have to thank James Andrew Clark, who writes the amazing webcomic Guns of Shadow Valley, for pointing us in the right direction on how to do the hack. We are shamelessly copying their clever design in the first place so go read the comic if you haven’t yet. The art is by Dave Wachter and is scenic and breath-taking, while the story totally has me hooked on the premise of gunslingers with supernatural powers.

Please leave us a comment if you notice anything wacky in the design updates. We’ll do our best to fix any problems that might occur. Hope you enjoy the new look!
